Meet Our Educational Team

At IMS, our multicultural team shares a passion for Montessori education. Everyone is fully committed to ongoing training, promoting a unified and caring atmosphere, always putting respect for children at the heart of our concerns.

Commitment, Dynamism, and Dedication

Our main commitment is to guide your children by faithfully following the original approach of Maria Montessori, each member being certified by AMI.

Versatile and international, our team brings together professionals from varied backgrounds, all united by a single priority: the well-being and development of your children.

A Glimpse of Our Team Building 2023

We place great importance on our work environment, constantly striving to improve employee well-being and the work atmosphere.

Our recent team-building activity, viewable in the video below, reflects our commitment to unity and camaraderie within the team.

This year, our event spanned two days.

On Thursday, August 24, Jessica from Ateliers du Bonheur hosted our team at Melissa’s workshop in Koumassi, focusing on the theme “Seeing Each Other with Kindness.” This day strengthened solidarity within the team, highlighting our individual qualities and strengths.

On August 25, we embarked on a bus journey to Assinie, where the administrative team awaited us for a well-prepared day. Together, we redefined our goals for the year, shared moments of play and joy. This year, the trophy ended up in the hands of the House of Children.

Anam Hassam

Founder and Director of IMS

AMI 3-6 years Educator, Certified Montessori School Director

Born in Abidjan, I pursued my higher education in psychology in Canada. After obtaining my degree, I settled in France to start my professional career. However, the defining moment of my life occurred during volunteer work in Paris, where I had the chance to discover Maria Montessori’s pedagogy. This decisive encounter instantly awakened a deep conviction in me, prompting me to undergo training as an AMI 3-6 years educator at the Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori (ISMM).

Once certified, armed with this new educational perspective, I returned to Canada to gain valuable experience in the field. In 2016, driven by the passion to share this alternative learning approach, I decided to return to Abidjan. It is there that I realized my dream by opening a Montessori school, guided by the belief that every child deserves an exceptional education tailored to their unique needs.
